The Legacy of Chinguetti

Chinguetti, a UNESCO World Heritage site in Mauritania, has been a center of Islamic learning for over 800 years. Its ancient libraries house thousands of precious manuscripts covering subjects from Islamic law to astronomy.

Our center draws inspiration from this rich heritage, aiming to preserve and continue the tradition of Islamic scholarship in the modern world.
